Red Express has come up with a new functionality on its website wherein, we display our successful DAP% to the Customers and we give access to our valuable customers to view their DAP% on their dashboards as well.
DAP% means Delivered as Promised percentage. It is a percentage of successfully delivered consignments out of the total number of consignments we handle. The DAP% is calculated when Delivery Date/Time is less than or equals to Estimated Delivery Date/Time.
DAP% calculation is inclusive of operational constraints such as Strikes, Accidents, Bad Weather, Force Measures like Traffic Jams, and Vehicle Breakdown. Our DAP% scores are inclusive of all the transit failures. Therefore, a variation is observed in the DAP% score every week.
For instance, If total no. of consignments handled in a particular month is 1,00,000, out of which we have successfully delivered 92,000 consignments, that means, our DAP % for that particular month is 92%.
RED Express continuously strives to achieve a DAP% of above 90% in the above inescapable conditions also.
Delivered as Promised percentage or DAP% is measured on real-time basis for each and every consignment. Mapping of DAP% score starts from the time of booking of a consignment till the first attempt is made by our Crew to deliver it.
